A Christmas memorial service will take place at St Lawrence Chapel this month, offering residents the chance to remember a loved one.
The service will be held on Saturday 6th December at 11am, with refreshments served afterwards.
The annual event is run by F Curtis & Son Funeral Directors and provides a time to reflect for those who are bereaved.
“It’s a chance for us all to come together and reflect over the past year, light a candle for a lost loved one and then enjoy a mince pie and a glass of mulled wine or a cup of tea,” said Lindsey Elvin, funeral arranger at F Curtis & Son.
“It’s nice to see people coming together over a shared experience, and maybe it just helps with the grief a little, knowing that they aren’t alone, especially at this time of year.”
