Residents came together to explore ways to live more sustainably at a Sustainable Living Fair last month.
The event brought together a range of stallholders, experts and community groups.
“The atmosphere throughout the day was warm, welcoming and full of enthusiasm,” said Rebecca Krzyzosiak, co-chair and secretary of Sustainable Warminster. “The event offered local and national organisations networking opportunities and visitors had meaningful conversations, keen to make positive changes. We’re grateful to Warm & Safe Wiltshire for their support in making this event possible.”
Attendees included representatives from National Energy Action, Wiltshire Climate Alliance, Cranborne Chase International Dark Sky Reserve, Wessex Water Outreach, Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks, The Vegan Society, RSPB and Wiltshire Wildlife Community Energy, alongside local groups, artists and makers.
The event was a passion project for Rebecca and followed a series of energy advice events run by Sustainable Warminster in 2024 and 2025.
“The Sustainable Warminster ethos is not about perfection, rather making small, manageable changes that make a difference to where we live, the environment and personal wellbeing,” said Rebecca.
