A free community event bringing together over 40 local health organisations is set to return to Warminster in May.
The Warminster Health and Wellbeing Fair allows residents to connect with local health organisations providing expert advice and support.
“This community event celebrates the rich variety of health services available right on your doorstep,” said Dave Reeves from Health and Wellbeing Warminster, which is organising the fair.
“This is the perfect opportunity to engage with service providers and explore new ways to boost your wellbeing.”
Health and Wellbeing Warminster is a volunteer-led community support group, committed to improving awareness of and access to local health and wellbeing services.
The group hosts quarterly meetings and shares information, news and contacts across its 70 members. The group has been vital in pushing forward campaigns within the town, such as the campaign for the reinstatement of the mobile breast screening clinic and the building of a new pharmacy. Warminster Health and Wellbeing has also produced a 40-page booklet of local health facts, tips, and listings of over 150 organisations and opportunities which will be reissued this year.
Anyone living or working in the Warminster community can join the group, free of charge.
The health and wellbeing fair will take place on Saturday 16th May from 10am until 1pm at Warminster Civic Centre.
