Thousands of people attended the Warminster Independent Spring Market, as the town welcomed popular traders from across the South West.
A ‘bustling’ atmosphere greeted visitors for the first independent market of the year on Sunday 29th March, with over 160 pitches filling the High Street, Market Place and Civic Centre.
“These markets keep growing and attracting thousands of visitors to Warminster,” said a spokesperson from Warminster Town Council, which organised the event in conjunction with the Warminster Business Network.
“It was wonderful to see so many people supporting local businesses. It was a great day for vibrant Warminster.
“Warminster Town Council remains committed to working with the local community to put on super events that benefit all, as well as encouraging footfall to our amazing town.”
Future markets will be held on Sunday 28th June, Sunday 30th August and Sunday 29th November.
