A busy summer market drew thousands into Warminster as 150 traders set up across the town centre for the Independent Summer Market.
Stalls lined the High Street, Market Place and Civic Centre for the event on Sunday 28th June.
“We’ve had a fantastic day,” said Mayor Jack Jones. “All the stall holders and Warminster businesses are out in force. Everyone seems super happy. Even with the weather being as hot as it is, we’ve still seen the community come out and show support. It’s been super busy – another wonderful day for the town.”
Warminster Independent Markets are organised by Warminster Town Council in conjunction with Warminster Business Network.
A town council spokesperson said, “Another super event for the town – we are encouraging visitors and residents to keep supporting and championing thriving Warminster.
“Warminster Town Council remains committed to working with the Warminster Business Network as well as the local community to put on events that benefit all as well as encouraging footfall to our town. Next up we have Roarminster – as we welcome five dinosaur models to the town for the summer holidays.”
The next market will take place on Sunday 20th August, with the Christmas event planned for Sunday 29th November.
