An inclusive gaming hub run by volunteers has launched a crowdfunding campaign to support a move to a more central location in Warminster.
FactoruM was established six years ago in Sutton Veny as a welcoming gaming community focused on tabletop games, board games and roleplay games. It is now aiming to raise £5,000 to cover a deposit and estimated moving costs to move to a new venue in Warminster town centre.
“Some expenses have already been generously covered by members of the community and the organisation’s directors, meaning this remaining amount will enable the move to go ahead,” said committee member Jess Smith.
“This move will not only help secure the long-term sustainability of the organisation but also allow it to expand its reach within the community and support even more local people.”
FactoruM hosts regular events, tournaments, and also runs a cafe. The organisation is run by a committee of volunteers, and all profits are reinvested to improve facilities and support members.
“Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive space for gaming and hobbies within a supportive community that is as affordable as possible, with a particular focus on supporting individuals with mental health conditions, neurodivergence, and armed forces veterans,” said Jess.
