Over 100 cars and motorbikes will be on show at Longleat this month to honour the estate’s motoring history.
The Motor Show Weekender will take place on Saturday 27th June and Sunday 28th June, with entry included as part of the Longleat day ticket.
This year marks 50 years since the first Bath-based Lombard Rally, which has previously included stages that raced directly through Longleat Estate and Safari Park. There will be two demonstration runs: a spectator stage set against the backdrop of Longleat House and a tarmac run inspired by the Lombard Rally. Cars on display will include the Jaguar XJ220, Ford GT40, DeLorean DMC-12 and the Jaguar E-Type Series 3.
“The Motor Show Weekender is set to be an unmissable weekend where memories are made, reimagined and brought vividly back to life across one of the UK’s national treasures,” said Scott Ashman, Longleat’s Head of Operations.
The event will also include an immersive art installation titled A Brush with Speed, which features a collection of motoring-themed pieces from 15 artists and sculptors.
The weekend marks the first of the Great British Summer Savings scheme, with VAT reduced on entry tickets.
