The popular Ice Cream and Bubbles Festival will return to the Lake Pleasure Grounds this weekend for a day of family-friendly fun.
The free event will take place on Saturday 1st August from 12pm to 5pm. There will be a free bubble disco and a bubbleologist. Ice cream will be available to purchase throughout the event.
There will also be food stalls, pottery painting, face painting and henna tattoos, as well as milkshakes, doughnuts and desserts on sale throughout the event. The Pavilion Parlour will also be open, serving refreshments in the park.
“We’re really excited for another Ice Cream and Bubbles Festival after huge success in previous years,” said a spokesperson for Warminster Town Council, which is organising the event. “It is another free-to-enter event for all the family.
“We are proud to host another event in the wonderful Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds and look forward to seeing you all there as part of an exciting summer programme of events in the park.”
Mayor Jack Jones added, “Events like this help showcase the positive atmosphere in Warminster and provide great opportunities for families, local businesses and visitors to enjoy the town together. I am looking forward to another brilliant day.”
Free facilities such as the splash pad, play park and lava trail will also be available throughout the day.
