Residents are being invited to attend the Friends of Warminster Hospital’s (FOWH) Annual General Meeting to hear updates on fundraising, volunteering and support for local health services.
The AGM will take place on Thursday 23rd April at 6.30pm at the Warminster Civic Centre. Light refreshments will be available.
“There promises to be much discussion on what’s been happening during the last 12 months and an opportunity to come up with any fundraising ideas for the future,” said a spokesperson from FOWH.
“The aim of the FOWH is to promote and enable the provision of health facilities to patients within Warminster and the surrounding villages, as well as encouraging the recruitment of volunteers. In addition to the Longleat Ward, the hospital offers outpatient services which may be accessed by referral from local GPs.”
The AGM is free to attend. There is no need to register and attendees can just turn up on the day. For more information, visit the FOWH website at www.fowh.org.
