An exhibition to commemorate the end of World War II in the Far East is running at Warminster Museum.
This year marks the 80th anniversary of VJ Day – Victory over Japan Day – which on 15th August 1945 signalled the end of World War II in the Far East.
“We have exhibits from serving Navy personnel who were there at the time, plus details of the celebrations that took place in Warminster to mark this momentous event,” said a spokesperson for the museum.
“The museum is on the ground floor of Warminster Library and we do hope many of you will call in to view the displays.”
