A new public-access defibrillator has been installed at the home of Warminster Town Football Club, offering round-the-clock support for cardiac emergencies and strengthening safety for visitors and the wider community.
The device has been fully tested and certified and is available 24 hours a day to players, volunteers and supporters, as well as residents living nearby.
The project has been funded in full by the Premier League Stadium Fund and the Football Foundation, whose investment in grassroots football continues to assist local clubs. Their support has enabled the installation to go ahead at no cost to the club.
Club Chairman James Stone said, “This installation marks another significant step forward in the development of Warminster Town Football Club. The safety and wellbeing of everyone who steps through our gates is paramount, and having a public-access defibrillator on site is an essential part of that commitment.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Premier League Stadium Fund and the Football Foundation for providing full funding for this project, allowing us to continue improving our facilities without placing financial strain on the club.
“On behalf of the club my thanks also go to MG Electrical Services for their excellent work in completing the installation. This is another example of how our club and community are growing stronger together.
“The installation reinforces the club’s role as a community hub, providing not only football opportunities but also safe, accessible facilities for local groups, families and residents.
Warminster Town FC remains committed to continuous improvement; making our ground safer, stronger and better equipped for the future.”
