A group of Warminster women have created a large poppy display to raise funds for the Royal British Legion.
The cascade features over 1,000 knitted poppies, made by the Knit and Natter group at Crescent Place retirement complex in Portway over the last few months.
“Hopefully their hard work will help raise donations for the Royal British Legion this year, and in the years to come,” said a spokesperson from Crescent Place.
The group is already working on their next project, knitting blankets for premature babies in local neonatal units.
