The Warminster Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club runs a monthly meet in Warminster for veterans to socialise.
The club meets on the third Saturday of every month at The Cock Inn in Warminster at 10.30am, with breakfast served from 11am.
“This gathering allows members to get together and have a bit of squaddie banter and breakfast without having to explain themselves,” said a spokesperson from the club.
“Sharing experiences and talking the same language will help individuals deal with a multitude of issues with likeminded service personnel in an environment where they feel comfortable, confident and safe.
“Although charity is not our main focus, we have raised over £8,000 in the last five years or so with a number of national and local charities benefiting from our efforts.”
The Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club is a national organisation which provides a supportive and welcoming environment for veterans.
“All veterans will be made most welcome,” said the spokesperson. “I am sure you will meet old and new veterans leading to long term friendships and camaraderie.”
