A community litter pick will return to Warminster next month as part of the Great British Spring Clean.
Anyone interested in volunteering can meet at Warminster Civic Centre on Saturday 14th March from 10am to 12pm. All equipment will be provided, and volunteers will receive a free hot drink.
The event is organised by Sustainable Warminster and Warminster Town Council
Councillor Jack Jones, Warminster Town Council’s litter pick champion, said, “Warminster residents and the Town Council grounds team work hard all year to pick up litter.
“The Great British Spring Clean is a chance to reconnect with neighbours, local groups and the wider community while doing something practical and positive.
“A clean and well-looked-after environment helps boost community pride, supports local wildlife and makes shared spaces safer and more welcoming for everyone. Everyone can play a part, whether by giving an hour of their time or simply helping to spread the word.”
Warminster Town Council is asking people to notify them if there is a road or area that would particularly benefit from litter picking.
