A community litter pick is taking place on Sunday 27th September, from 10am to 2pm.
The Mayor of Warminster, Cllr Jack Jones, is encouraging visitors and residents to participate as part of his commitment to keep the town tidy.
Participants can bring their own gloves and litter pickers, although equipment will be provided.
Volunteers should meet outside the Pavilion Parlour at the Lake Pleasure Grounds.
Cllr Jones, who is also Warminster Town Council’s Litter Pick Champion, said, “Keeping Warminster clean and tidy is something I care deeply about.
“Warminster is a town we can all be proud of, and I encourage anyone who would like to get involved to join us. Every piece of litter collected makes a difference.”
The town council also provides free litter-picking equipment for residents to borrow throughout the year.
