The organisers of Imberbus 2025 are looking for volunteers to support this year’s event.
Held on Saturday 16th August, stewards will be needed from 10am to 4pm to assist with various activities.
Imberbus, a bus service that operates for one day only each year, provides rare public access to the abandoned village of Imber.
Volunteers will be stationed at either Warminster Railway Station or Imber Village to help organise queues and also provide local information to visitors.
A steward briefing session will be held in the late afternoon on Friday 15th August with a time to be confirmed.
All volunteers can enjoy a free ride to Imber.
If you’d like to get involved with this popular event, email admin@warminster-tc.gov.uk or phone 01985 214847, specifying the times you are available and which location you would prefer to be based at.
Over 18s only can apply to volunteer.
