Local Girlguides recently took part in a fun, interactive session with Wiltshire Police, giving them a taste of life as an officer.

Chief Constable Catherine Roper, also a Girlguiding South West England ambassador, and Warminster officer Becky hosted the event with the 1st Warminster Rainbows and 6th Warminster Brownies last month.
At the session, the girls were invited to explore a police vehicle, test the lights, and learn about the equipment inside.
“They designed a new uniform for a police officer, with all sorts of new and exciting gadgets,” said Emma, leader of the Rainbows and Brownies units.
“Then, with Catherine, they became detectives and solved a ‘crime’.
“Of course, no visit like this would be complete without a special badge to mark the occasion!”
