Hardworking volunteers at Warminster RFC have been celebrated in an awards ceremony.
The awards were presented to volunteers from the rugby club at the Dorset & Wilts Honda Volunteer of the Year awards last month, which recognises people who make significant contributions to sports clubs in their community.
Steve Bidgood, Minis and Youth Chairman, congratulated all those from the club who scooped awards.
Warminster RFC winners included coaches Rachel Fazackarley, Oliver Mead, George Trypanis, Benjamin Williams, Adam Young, Miikee Selmes, Jed Tryhorn, Andy Shepherd, Steven McNeillie and Daniel Slade. Fixtures secretary James Hood also won an award, alongside bar manager, social secretary and club person of the year Louise Hawkins.
Steve added, “Thank you for working tirelessly at Warminster RFC. All your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.”
