Local charity Alzheimer’s Support has invited new members to join its Old Silk Works day club in Warminster.
Receiving national recognition for the way it supports people living with dementia, the club offers a full day out in a friendly and supportive environment while also providing regular respite for their carers.
Activities are tailored to individual interests and include art, cookery, board games, dance, photography and more – all enjoyed with plenty of conversation and laughter.
Club manager Louise Gover said, “We’d love to welcome anyone living with dementia to come and find out what our day club is all about.
“It’s a friendly place to meet others, enjoy activities and feel part of a supportive community.
“Our doors are always open, so please drop in anytime, the kettle will be on.”
Old Silk Works is open Monday to Friday from 9.45am to 3.45pm. For more information. contact 01985 624006 or visit www.alzheimerswiltshire.org.uk
