Children in Sutton Veny have unleashed their creativity through an exciting new art project.
Sarah Christie, who runs a holiday art club called Arty Pants, recently challenged the group to add a new design to a shed at Alexander Field in the village.
It now features a colourful mural with words such as ‘peace’ and ‘love’ layered over the top.
Sarah said, “After a year of the village of Sutton Veny enjoying a Clarice Cliff-inspired mural painted by children last year, this half-term saw it undergo a complete makeover.
“On one side are two pieces influenced by the work of Keith Haring, and on the other is a new bright, patterned and interactive mural. A hand stands prominently in the piece in the shape of half a heart, which allows visitors to have a photo taken using their own hand to complete the other half.
“The mural also includes positive words such as ‘be kind’, ‘courage’, and ‘peace’ to share a positive message.”
