A quiz night will take place this month to raise money for a campaign to create a community green on Warminster High Street.
The event will take place at the Wellbeing Hub on Friday 26th June at 7.30pm.
The quiz is the first in a series of events throughout the year to raise funds towards the possible purchase of the site next to St Lawrence Chapel and turn it into a green space.
“The more money we raise as a community, the better it looks when we apply for a grant,” said Maggy Daniell from the Warminster Community Green Association.
“The quiz master wants to include people, he doesn’t just do geography, history and sport, he does a range of questions, so everyone has a chance,” said Maggy Daniell from the Warminster Community Green Association.
