A barn fire was brought under control in Warminster after hay bales caught alight.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Victoria Road shortly after 6pm on Saturday 24th May.
Plumes of smoke were visible from as far away as Cley Hill.
In a statement, Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
“We received a call reporting an agricultural fire off Victoria Road, Warminster at 6:01pm on 24th May.
“Crews from Warminster, Trowbridge, Wilton and Frome were mobilised to the scene and on arrival, some hay bales were alight inside a barn. Breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets and two main jets to extinguish the fire.
“The stop came in at 7:47pm.”
