Plans have been submitted for the next phase of the Jubilee Gardens development on Warminster’s western edge.
The application includes details on the appearance, landscaping, and layout for a further 266 homes at the site. If approved by Wiltshire Council, this will bring the total number of homes on the site to 772.
Developer Persimmon Homes Wessex says plans for this fourth residential phase are expected to generate a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) payment of around £700,000 for Warminster. CIL funds can be used to fund infrastructure projects and community facilities.
The submission follows recent approval by council planners of the sports pitches, changing facilities, allotments and ecology areas for the area.
This latest application also includes a large area of public open space, and the site will feature a range of ecological measures, including bird and bat boxes.
Persimmon Homes Wessex managing director Seb Spiller said, “We are extremely proud of what we have achieved on-site already and have welcomed many stakeholders over the years. We are very excited to present our plans for the next stage of construction to the local authority and look forward to working with them to achieve our mutual goals.”
The plans can be viewed on Wiltshire Council’s planning portal under reference PL/2025/04323.
