Warminster’s popular splash pad in the Lake Pleasure Grounds has officially reopened for the season.
Open daily from 10am to 5pm, it features several water attractions and has welcomed thousands of visitors since it first opened in 2022.
The reopening kick-starts a busy time for the Lake Pleasure Grounds, with the splash pad offering another free and fun activity for visitors, alongside the skate park, lava trail and play area.
Just in time for summer, the newly refurbished Pavilion Café is now open seven days a week, from 10am to 5pm, with an improved food and drink menu.
Tennis, pickleball and golf equipment can be hired from the café during opening hours. Meanwhile, canoeing and rowing have also returned to the Lake Pleasure Grounds.
The park will also host a wide variety of events for all the family this year, including Spring in the Park, Warminster Book Festival, Food & Drink Festival, and an 80th Anniversary World War II Show.
A Warminster Town Council spokesperson said, “The Lake Pleasure Grounds are loved by the people of Warminster. The reopening of the splash pad will add to the many happy memories created in the park.
“We encourage visitors to come and explore the park, check out the improvements at the Pavilion Café, and make use of our other wonderful facilities – there is something for everyone.”
