A Warminster resident is launching a new business selling deodorants specifically formulated for younger girls.
Mandy Johnson, who has worked as a paramedic in Warminster for the past 20 years, is launching her new business, Blossom and Beau, soon. She noticed a gap in the market when she struggled to find a deodorant for her then-7-year-old daughter, Chloe.
“We went into town – Morrisons, Superdrug, Boots – and there was nothing aimed at girls or children,” said Mandy. “In my naivety, with no business experience, I thought I could make this in the kitchen, buy some bottles and fill them up. But obviously, it doesn’t work like that.
“So, two years on, we have worked with a leading chemist in the country to formulate a product for girls that is 100% natural, vegan, dermatologically tested for younger skin, and it smells amazing!”

Mandy is hoping to launch her first product, Dazzling Diva, before Christmas, with two more deodorants, Cosmic Chick and Sassy Stars, planned for next year. The products are safe for girls as young as seven to use.
“Already, the feedback has been amazing,” said Mandy.
“It looks and it smells great – we’re really excited about it!”
Mandy is also hoping to expand the range to include other products, such as shampoos and conditioners.
“It’s really exciting,” she added. “It’s been really fun, and it’s been a lovely journey.”
Blossom and Beau products will initially be available online, although Mandy is hoping to secure a spot at the Christmas Warminster Market to sell her products in person.
Once the products have been launched, they will be available at https://blossomandbeau.com/
