A night of live stand-up comedy is set to return to the Warminster Athenaeum this month, with comedian Marcus Brigstocke headlining the bill.
Warminster Comedy Club will host their latest comedy night with a lineup of established names and rising talent from the UK comedy circuit on Sunday 21st June from 7.30pm.
Marcus is one of the country’s best-known stand-up comedians with television credits including Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You and The Graham Norton Show. He is also a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4 and has appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival throughout his career.
“Marcus is known for his intelligent, satirical comedy and razor-sharp delivery,” said the Athenaeum. “He combines biting wit with playful storytelling, making him one of the most consistently entertaining performers in British comedy.
“Joining Marcus on the bill is David Arnold, a hugely likeable stand-up known for his energetic stage presence and brilliantly relatable material. With sharp observations and an effortless connection with audiences, David has built a strong reputation on the live circuit as a comedian who knows exactly how to get a room laughing.”
Hosting the night is Rich Wilson, winner of the Comics’ Comic 2025 Best MC award, an honour voted for by fellow comedians.
“Rich is widely regarded as one of the very best hosts on the UK comedy circuit, known for his quick wit, warm crowd work, and ability to keep the atmosphere buzzing throughout the night,” added the Athenaeum.
“Expect a relaxed atmosphere, big laughs, and a brilliant night of live stand-up.”
