A Warminster woman living with multiple sclerosis (MS) has raised £1,200 for the charity which supports her, through her popular annual fundraiser.
Katherine Marsh is a regular visitor to the Wessex MS Therapy Centre, where she receives ongoing support and therapy.
Determined to give back, she opens her home each year for her much-loved annual event, Katherine’s Cake Bake.
She baked the delicious treats on offer, welcoming friends, family and neighbours to enjoy a slice and a cuppa while raising money for MS charities. Katherine was supported on the day by her friend Diana.
This year’s event was a ‘resounding success’, with every slice and cup of tea contributing to a cause close to Katherine’s heart.
“We are so grateful to Katherine for her continued support,” said Rosie, CEO of the Wessex MS Therapy Centre. “Her Cake Bake is not just a fundraiser – it’s a wonderful example of community spirit and personal dedication. Every pound she’s raised helps us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by MS and other neurological conditions.
“Katherine’s passion and commitment are a true inspiration, and we are honoured to count her as part of our community.”
The proceeds from the Cake Bake will help the Wessex MS Therapy Centre continue to provide vital therapies, support and care for people living with multiple sclerosis in the region.
