Police are appealing for a passer-by who may have witnessed a sexual assault in Warminster to come forward.
The incident happened at around 3.30am on Friday 21st August in Woodcock Road, when a woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted.
A man in his 20s from Trowbridge was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and has since been released on conditional bail while further enquiries are carried out.
Warminster Police said, “We believe a passer-by offered assistance following the incident and may have witnessed what happened. If you think this may have been you, please get in touch.”
