LOCAL pupils embarked on a whole school pilgrimage recently to celebrate their core value of love.
Pupils and staff from St John’s CofE Primary School joined members of the local church community on a walk to St. Aldhelm’s Church in Bishopstrow to reflect on what love means in the school community.
“Children shared stories of kindness and took part in activities exploring how love can be shown through friendship, courage, and compassion,” said assistant head Charlotte Walker. “This included role-plays of how to show love to others.”
The pilgrimage ended with songs of love and joy in the church, before the children walked back to school.
