Essential sewer maintenance near the centre of Warminster means that two-way lights will be in place on Silver Street in the town for two weeks in early September.
The lights will be sited just west of the junction with Ash Walk from Monday 8th September as Wessex Water completes the crucial repairs.
The project, which will be completed by Friday 19th September, will also see a number of parking bays on Silver Street suspended to ensure the safety of the public and the team carrying out the work.
A Wessex Water spokesperson said, “This is an important repair of the sewer network in this area of Warminster which will also help to protect the environment.
“We have written to and will be meeting with local customers and businesses near the site of the work to talk to them about this work and will be working with them throughout to keep disruption to a minimum as much as possible. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused.’’
